The long overdue mega blog sale is HERE finally! I figured that these little pretties could use better homes since I hardly use them, if not at all. The blog sale is open to everyone in the world, I'll try to ship within the next few days after I received payment.

1. Ships both local and international, via airmail.

2. All Prices are listed in USD $. Only PayPal gift payments are accepted. I will give you instructions on how to pay with PayPal gift if needed.

3. Shipping is $4 for the first item and $0.5 for each additional item in your purchase order. Add another $2 if you would like to send by REGISTERED airmail (i.e. with tracking number).

4. All sales final. No returns. No exchanges.

5. Prices of items and shipping non-negotiable. I don't open a shipping company and ship for free.

ABAD Day 29: NARS Gina//"每日一胭脂"系列 第29天: NARS Gina胭脂

On day 29, blush-of-the-day is NARS Gina, a matte orange with no pink undertones. True orange. The rubber compact has turned sticky and glue-y so I taped it up with cellotapes.

第29天, 今天的主角是NARS Gina, 啞光的橙色胭脂, 沒有任何粉紅調, 是絕對的橙色. 由於黑色的橡膠盒開次老化, 變得"癡立立", 所以我用了膠紙包著它.

Even though the color is matte and might look dull on hand, it showed up beautifully and is an instant wake-up blush shade.

在手背的試色看似很沉, 但掃在面上後, 整個look立即變得精神起來.

Overall thoughts: Don't be terrified by the true orange of Gina, I know there are orange blushes that dull the face but Gina gave me the "pop" of color and perked me up, making me look instantly awake and fresh. It's extremely long-wearing and still wears on the face after an entire day's wear.

ABAD Day 24: NARS Luster //"每日一胭脂"系列 第24天: NARS Luster胭脂

The third NARS blush to be featured in the series is NARS Luster, which is a shimmery coral orange shade. It's not as orange as Gina, Gina is matte and Luster has shimmer.

Overall thoughts: I'm glad I went for Luster, it's a coral leaning more towards orange - just my cup of tea. It shows up more leaning towards pink on me though, but I'm amazed at how long lasting it is after a whole day's wear.

ABAD Day 9: NARS Gilda //"每日一胭脂"系列 第9天: NARS Gilda 胭脂

Day 9 of A-Blush-A-Day project features NARS Gilda blush, which is a 'coral' described by NARS. As a coral fan, I've always wanted to try Gilda but has never taken the plunge. Anyways, here it is and it looks horrifyingly bright in the pan, lol.

"每日一胭脂"系第9天的焦點在 NARS Gilda上, Gilda 被形容為''珊瑚色''. 作為"珊瑚色''的粉絲, 我打算試這個色很久的了, 但一直也沒有. Gilda 給我的第一印象很鮮豔, 有點害怕很難carry.

Since it's matte, and the shade itself is bright, it almost made me look sunburned.

因為是啞光, 顏色本身都是很sharp的緣故, 令我看起來很似"曬傷了".

Intensity: Very pigmented

Finish: Matte, makes me look a bit sunburned, not sure if it looks nice

Price: $27 USD (Got it on sale though)

Lasting power: 7 hours

Repurchase: Probably not, as the shade is not my favourite...

Overall thoughts: Gilda looks coral-fan-friendly in the pan but it came out making me look a bit sunburnt. Pigmentation and quality lives up to its name though. I just have problems with the shade itself, will give it a few more trials before making my mind up if I should keep it. Hopefully I'll get more tanned in summer and Gilda would work out nicely!

總評: Gilda看下去很容易carry, 出來的效果令我好像被太陽曬傷的感覺, 不肯定是好與否. 顯色度及質素都附合NARS胭脂的聲譽. 我只是不太肯定應否繼續用這個顏色, 會多試數次才有決定. 夏天來臨時, 我又會曬黑了, 說不定這個顏色會很好看呢.

ABAD Project Day 2: NARS Penny Lane// "每日一胭脂"系列 第二天: NARS Penny Lane膏狀胭脂

Here comes the second blush to be introduced in the A-Blush-A-Day project Day 2 - NARS Penny Lane. I swapped this blush from Stellar. Penny Lane is a blush in cream texture and is a nude colored blush. On my NC25 skin, it looks flatteringly natural and makes my cheeks looks like they are naturally flushed without the artificial pinks and oranges.

As you can probably see, a huge dip is forming in the pan, can you tell I am looking forward to the day this blush hit pan?! :D

Intensity: The color itself is suitable for fairer skins, hence I'd recommend if you're NC25 or paler. I need to swipe 3-4 times in order for this to show up nicely, despite the quick dip forming (since you need a few swipes of it to show up), I am loving the shade itself.

Finish: Cream, with shimmer

Value: $27 USD (5.5 g)

Lasting power: Starts to fades after 4 hours, but cheeks still looking naturally flushed. You can't go wrong with applying more of this I'd say.

Repurchase: Yes

Overall thoughts: At first I didn't like this blush but then I grew to like it more and more, precisely because of the natural flush it gave to my cheeks. I love Penny Lane on days when I am not feeling bold or if I have some formal occasions to attend. Wish it would have be more long-lasting though! If you don't want to look too made-up or kawaii-doll-pink, Penny Lane is definitely the choice. I would repurchase if I ever run out of this.

上色度: 比較適合淺色皮膚, 如果你是NC25或更淺色的話, 這就值得試試了. 我塗了3-4層才顯色. 雖然每次要塗幾層才出色 (令到個胭脂有個'凹'位 = 快要用完), 但我還是很喜歡這裸色系的顏色作胭脂.

持久度: 4-5小時之後開始淡色/脫色, 但看下去面色仍是很自然, 我覺得多塗一點也不會出錯的啦

總評: 起初對Penny Lane的上色度甚有保留, 但最後都喜歡了它夠自然, 最喜歡在formal場合使用它. 我只希望它的顏色會更持久吧, 如果你不喜歡太可愛系的粉紅色, Penny Lane一定適合你. 他朝有日, 我用掉它時, 一定會回購!

On the fence with: NARS Multiple in Copacabana// NARS Copacabana多用途膏狀highlighter

Today I am introducing a product which I don't really like, which is unusual for a product junkie. I was told that NARS Copacabana Multiple is a highlighter which, can also double as an eyeshadow base. Whichever the case, this product is such a fail n my skin. It is the first NARS Multiple I used.

今天為大家介紹一樣我不太喜歡的product, 對你或者我來說都很詫異吧. NARS品牌出了名上色度高, 持久度高, 基本上 我都很同意. 但這支Copacabana Multiple令我失望了. 這是我第一支Multiple, Copacabana這類顏色適合用來做highlight, 也有人告訴我這個可同時用作眼影底霜, 令眼影的顏色持久一點. 不過, 2種用法都不太成功啦...

NARS Multiples come in a higher price than their powder/cream blush, but you get 14g of product, which is not bad. Yet sometimes quantity doesn't win...

NARS的Multiples比起盒裝的胭脂粉/膏貴一截, 好在有14克產品, 都還可以. 不過有是唔係質量取勝的嘛...
Copacabana is a shimmery "glistening pearl" shade, according to its website and Sephora. This kind of color turned ashy on my NC25 skin. It was difficult to dot and blend on cheekbones, and the sheen it gives to my skin makes me look greasy. That's the last thing I wanted. I imagine this might work best on other skin tones but really I've had enough of it after using it 5 times or so. I just don't find myself reaching for it and that means something.

Copacabana的顏色是閃閃的珍珠色 (但不是白色喇), 有點似生蠔灰灰的顏色 XD 這類顏色對於我的面色來說不好看, 加上它閃閃的, 好容易令人覺得你油光滿面. 我用了5次之後開始苦惱, 不知道怎處置它. 一般上, 我化妝時是隨心的, 突然想用什麼便用什麼, 如過我甚少使用某product, 你可以猜是什麼一回事了.

I tried using it as an eyeshadow base and apply on the lid, which was alright. But do I need another eyeshadow primer? Probably not, as the multiple stick design is rather bulky and difficult to use it on the eyelid.

Price: Rather high for a highlighter/blush

Packaging: Quite bulky

Ease of use: Difficult as it's not easy to blend

Texture: Cream

Finish: shimmery, makes me look greasy

Scent: None

Pigmentation: Medium

Verdict: Copacabana the shade is not the best for my skin tone, it doesn't really excel as a highlighter. However this is my first foray into NARS Multiples and I'm interested in trying the same multiple in Angelika, which is a hot pink.

總評: 這類灰灰的珍珠色無論怎都不會好看啦 (以本人的面色來說), 用它作為highlighter的話又不太出眾. 不過這是我第一支NARS Multiple, 我比較有興趣試試Angelika (鮮粉紅)的顏色.

Swatch comparison: Smashbox Regal Blush a dupe of NARS Gina

NARS Gina has always been my HG orange-peach blush (full list of my HGs here). Seriously, I can't find the sunny-healthy pure orange glow Gina gives me in any other blushes. Yet, this changed when I received Smashbox's fusion blush in Regal from a swap. The latter came in the fall collection in 2009. I've not been impressed by Smashbox before (their Photofinish primer light broke me out, their under eye concealer [forgot the name] makes my undereye area shimmery, mascara smudges etc). But this blush is clearly different from the previous Smashbox experience I've had.

When I opened Smashbox Regal blush, I immediately dug out NARS Gina and put them side by side. Although both of them look kind of pink in the first picture, but they actually aren't pink. Both blushes belong to the orange peach family (NOT coral). Upon first glance, NARS Gina is a much brighter orange than Smashbox Regal. the latter is a much subdued orange in the pan. NARS Gina is matte, Smashbox Regal, however, contains half-matte and half-shimmery on each side of the blush. But the shimmer didn't show up at all when swatched (YAY ^_^).

Smashbox Regal is housed in a magnetic compact with a leather (or faux leather?) packaging, with a special logo printed on it saying 'fall 2009 collection'. NARS Gina comes in the usual black rubber compact. You may notice I taped the NARS compact with tape, that's because after a while, the NARS black rubber will start to degenerate and peel, and it gets extremely awful and sticky when you touch it. I can literally touch it only after I taped it up.

This initial swatch told me these blushes are dupes for each other, lol.

Since it didn't show up well in the first pic, I applied more to get it to show up in camera...

Here's how they look on cheek:

Both blushes show up the same on my cheeks. I like them both :) However if I were to choose one, I'd pick Gina because it's insanely pigmented, I only need a light swipe! Yet, the rational side of my brain tells me Smashbox Regal contains more product (7 grams) versus Gina's 4.5 grams, lol! I found myself reaching for both equally, I can't live without orange blushes especially on rainy and cloudy days, or on days with sleep deprivation.
