Goat Milk for skin, anyone?

Things embossed with "goat milk" always caught my eye - be it cheese or skincare (looking at you Kate Somerville!), and that's why you'd find goat milk and chai shower cream in my bathroom! I jumped at the chance to try some new skin and body care items by Billie Goat Soap from Australia that includes goat milk as an ingredient.

First the soap, this is such a beautiful, beautiful soap that makes my heart sing. It's made of goat milk and oatmeal which you know, calms sensitive skins and I heard is a savior for psoriasis and redness. Also if you haven't got all your Christmas shopping act together, this hand made soap makes a great stocking stuffer.

The soap doesn't smell of anything since it's fragrance-free. However do use a soap saver, since keeping the soap (or any soaps) dry helps with longevity.

Next up, the hand cream, it's packed with nutritious oils and goat milk being one of the ingredients as well. Fragrance-free. The Intensive Ezcema and Psoriasis Balm has gone straight to the "boyfriend" stash - for his dry and flaky shins obvs. I'm keeping the hand cream as my workers can probably tell from my voracious use of hand lotions at work, ha.

The lip balm is a bit thick and is quite hard to squeeze out, but it does make sure that you don't squeeze too much out at once. It's also nice but not sure how far it stands out from the crowd.

I'm most interested in the Shampoo and Conditioner - as I love me a wash every day! The shampoo doesn't disappoint, it's more like a gel-cream consistency and doesn't take a lot a lot to foam up (which some natural shampoos take you half a bottle to get some decent cleansing action). I'd seal an approval for this one.

The conditioner, on the other hand is quite moisturizing so I'd use it every other day. It rinses well as well.

Billie Goat Soap is available at selected Watsons stores right now. Don't be surprised if you see me slathering on goat milk moisturizer on my face next time ;)
