It is only winter that can make me more diligent in applying hand creams, as signs of chapped, wrinkled folds, and flaky skin become more obvious due to the low humidity weather. I remember opening hand creams laden with silicones and immediately trashed them into the bin; some hand creams are more amicable (texture-wise) but still when you look closer, they also carry the much-dreaded dimethicone. I still own a few of those hand creams and am on a mission to finish them up and buy only 'clean' hand creams in future.
