Last week I squeezed in an evening to attend the launch of a beauty handbook by the local makeup artist Annie G. Chan (sporting a white hat), who also happened to have her own makeup academy.

I've tried my first beauty drinks when I was still a teenager, at that time it wasn't a habit but more like to clear the stock my mom bought from Japan trip. Over the years I've made single attempts to delve into beauty drinks but I just couldn't make it into a habit because of the price, lol.

True Religion Brand Jeans F/W 2013

A few days ago I had the pleasure to attend the F/W 2013 preview at True Religion store at IFC Level 3. I'm never big on jeans because I can't wear them to work, for one, secondly I'd rather wear dresses on weekends instead of pants. This Week's Beauty Radar / 新品速遞

Now is the time we're at the crossroads between spring and summer, and here are the picks that has caught my eye among a sea of new launches. I'll name this section "This Week's Beauty Radar" from now on: 

First up we have Kiehl's Powerful Wrinkle and Pore Reducing Cream, and an accompany eye cream release. This had been released in the USA a bit earlier on this year and it's officially launched here in HK this month. The copper red jar packaging caught my breath instantly - as you might have guessed already - I started using Kiehl's products last year and became quite fond of their skincare, especially the Calendula toner I talked about HERE, Ultra Facial Cream HERE. Anything that targets dilated pores and first lines are totally my cup of tea:
