Aromatherapy Associates Rose Infinity Facial trial at FLAWLESS

Ever since I blogged about my absolute HG cream cleanser and toner from Aromatherapy Associates HERE and HERE, I've replenished the toner stock at home. FLAWLESS, a beauty salon specialized in facial treatments, has kindly given the opportunity to try a facial treatment using the Rose Infinity line - a line which is more expensive than the Renewing Rose / Hydrating (blue line), and which is targeted at mature, dry, tired skin that needs lifting and revitalization. My skin might not be mature but it sure is dry and showing tiredness (well who isn't tired with a day job?? lol). They've found the right person - I"m already a huge fan of the A.A. line and the rose hydrating line prior ;)

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil Review

Rose Hip Oil has made its way to my skincare routine since about a year or so ago. My favourite is KOSMEA's Rose Hip Oil which I reviewed HERE. That was the natural / organic alternative of "Liquid Gold" for me now. *kicks away Alpha H's Liquid Gold*

Then the curious cat self in me dabbled my paws into this oil released by Trilogy, I saw it on website for 13.5 GBP including free delivery, can't help it, can I? Plus Trilogy makes an array of skincare which I totally LOVE (Eye Contour Cream reviewed HERE, Balancing Gel Cleanser HERE). I've tried their toner and cleansing cream in their sampler set (I got mine on StrawberryNet), Botanical Body Wash (natural body wash hurray!) and everything was effective, comfortable and just GOOD.

Aromatherapy Associates Rose Skin Tonic review

I wrote about the Renewing Rose Cleanser from Aromatherapy Associates earlier on HERE, and I mentioned that thou will see better effects when using it together with the Rose Skin Tonic. Today I'm bringing you the review of the toner from the same (Hydrating) line.

Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Cleanser review

I was introduced to Aromatherapy Associates by accident, and I bought a set of cleanser-toner-face-oil from Beautybay last year, and have recently opened them as cream cleansers have become my best friend now. My skin can no longer take heavy-foam cleansers since it's turning dry, and it took me a while to get used to cream cleansers, and this cleanser has really converted me into a cream cleanser fan.

Josie Maran Argan Oil Review

Happy new year everyone! I didn't expect to take this rather long break since my last post, but I"ve gotten myself into the hospital at the start of the year and now I injured my hands and all that due to a silly accident. Chinese New Year is round the corner and preparation is going to be in full swing soon, as I'm writing today, I pray for a peaceful, healthy and joyful new year of the Horse!

Ever since I bid farewell to my beloved and trusted MoroccanOil hair treatment due to its questionable ingredients list, my hair could still use a bit of hydration/nutrients boost due to daily blow-drying, I decided to switch to something more straight and simple: Argan Oil. Argan Oil was listed as one of the ingredients in MoroccanOil hair treatment, and it's supposedly the 'element' in the MoroccanOil potion that truly delivers the goodness to hair ends. If Argan Oil is the thing that works, why do we need the silicone and dimethicone? Cut the crap in the potion!

Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover Review

I wear eyeliner, concealer on a daily basis, and eyeshadows almost everyday. An eye makeup remover is my best friend at the end of the day and I go through bottles of them every 2 months or so. I've tested a few bi-phase removers so far, including Lancome's Bi-Facil, Chanel's, and a couple more others. today I'll share my thoughts on this product by Clarins.

GLYCEL Twenty Elements Cream Review

It's about time I write a proper review on Twenty Elements Cellular Renewal Cream* by Glycel. The brand's latest release touts 20 skin-activating and stem cell repairing elements, hence its given name. I use this at night time primarily.

Caudalie Divine Oil Review

Since last year's experience with Rose Hip Oil, I've become a 'huile' fanatic, aka oil freak. I absolutely adore the idea of using face oils, and oils for body. When Caudalie released their "Huile Divine" (Divine Oil), I waited and read reviews on what others say about its smell, and I"m a bit of a skeptic when it says it can be used for "face, body and hair". These three categories are completely independent, I can't really imagine using the same product for all of these things!

Burberry Eye Makeup Remover review

This small bottle of eye makeup remover from Burberry was acquired during a promotional purchase. Long story short, it was a purchase with regrets.

GLYCEL Hydro Firm Moisturizing Cream Review

Look what arrived on my doorstep the other day:

It's the most beautiful candle stand I"ve seen, together with a delightful moisturizer. Of course the two are linked to the same theme: birds. And birds' nest.

Sofina Beaute Makeup Cleansing Gel Review

I accrued a sample of this Cleansing Gel during a crazy haul last year at Sofina counter. I was into makeup removing gels a while ago since I suspect that the cleansing oils I'm using might block my pores, which led to breakouts. I opened this sample up and was delighted at its scent and texture.

Kosmea Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil Review

I'm not gonna lie, my mom introduced me to this beauty oil a few years ago when a friend of her came back from Australia handed this oil to her. Having a problem-free skin at that time, I used it once in a blue moon on the occasional acne on my forehead.

And then last year when my skin started to act up (it still is now), I asked Michelle to get me a bottle of this when she came to HK for a trip. Close to finishing this oil now, I've declared it as an indispensable beauty staple for night time regimen.

Today's skincare pick is a daytime lotion with SPF15 by AHAVA called Essential Moisturizing Lotion SPF15. It falls under the "Hydrate" line like the Hydration Cream Mask which I wrote about previously. I've put this lotion to test for the past 5-6 weeks in the AM and it gets along well with my skin.

AHAVA Hydration Cream Mask Review / AHAVA

I've been into wash-off masks lately and I keep accruing tubes and tubs of masks from various brands. AHAVA had kindly tossed in a deluxe sample of their Hydration Cream Mask along with a full-sized daytime lotion, of which I'll review separately later. As my skin is leaning combination/dry, any "hydration" skincare products are very much welcomed!

Lavera My Age Intensive Eye Cream Review / Lavera

I made another attempt on skincare offerings from Lavera - the German organic skincare/cosmetic brand. Since there are fine lines showing in my under eye areas (eeeek), I opted for an eye cream with anti-wrinkle and firming properties.

The Do-it-all Facial machine: Overline Elite Resolution

This is my second facial treatment done at GLYCEL skin spa. I tried the newly imported machine there, called Overline Elite Resolution Oxy Face, made in Italy. Why would I say it's a do-it-all facial? The machine's got 5-in-1 functions in it and that's what makes it ideal for busy folks like me!

TALIKA sets foot at Facesss, LAB Concept!

Fans of French skincare & body care expert brand TALIKA would be excited to know they are opening up a new store at LAB Concept, Admiralty. I have been fascinated by the brand ever since their "Smile & Kiss" Lip Plumping & Teeth Whitening came into my radar as a beauty blogger! They're introducing a new product - a slimming machine operated with ultra red light waves and ultrasound. Seriously?

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser Review

I fell in love with Fresh Soy Face Cleanser after trying out a deluxe sample a few years ago, in Sephora's last FF sale, I asked a friend of mine to pick it up (since the product is pretty marked up locally). I have been using it in rotation with other cleansers and it's time to properly review it.

A facial treatment experience at FLAWLESS urban spa

Stepping into FLAWLESS Urban Spa for the second time, the first time being their opening party, I could feel the cozy ambiance there this time around. I felt like I had walked into a sanctuary and apothecary.
