3 Things I'm looking forward to in Spring 2014

1. FURLA handbags as arm candies

I've recently browsed via FURLA S/S 2014 offerings and its a plethora of candy pastel colors with plastic material. I'm really into plastics lately (you'll see in point 2) since they are almost un-destructible, lol.

Giordano Ladies F/W 2013 Preview

The other day I was invited to Giordano Ladies' F/W preview. If you're not familiar with the brand, they're bascially Hong Kong's version of Uniqlo. Giordano stores are affordable and Giodano Ladies targeted at business women who wants to look chic in more than black and white color combos. The price range is slightly higher than average Giordano.

Let your feet breathe at new GEOX flagship store @Central

The other week I scurried to a new store opening in the heart of Central - why, it's none other than GEOX. If you don't know yet, GEOX is famous for shoes that can 'breathe'. That night, the president of GEOX Mario Moretti Polegato, designer Patrick Cox and actress Tavia Yeung celebrated the store opening.

Outfit of the day + shoes

Today's outfit features a ruffled chiffon top, smart-casual cropped pants, and laced heels in suede. I wear this to school, to formal meal gatherings. If I'm working, I would add a black long-sleeved cardigan to stay warm in air-conditioned environment. I also wear this chiffon top for job interviews, I would pair this with a suit (skirt + jacket), and mono-colored heels.

I adore ruffles ♥ and the way they cover my shoulders. They slim your arms XD!

Normally I tend to avoid high heels (or anything higher than 1.5 inch) but I can't resist the lace-pattern...and it's in suede! These heels measured pretty tall in real life (2 inches). The front of the heels are covered in lace fabric while the latter half of the heels are covered in pure black suede material. The total came below 30 Euros.

I will have my second exam tomorrow, and another exam coming on saturday and next thursday, plus an essay due on tuesday. I am speechless except wishing for miracles to happen, LOL. Can't believe my uni life is coming to an end! I fell in love with this song (pun intended. It's a mashup, to be exact) below ever since I heard it a few months ago.

Thumbs-up to those who can name all the songs and artists in the following video. No cheating!

Monday Haul :)

In honour to commemorate my broken brown lace-up ankle boots, I got another pair from H&M yesterday. In fact I saw these pair of boots like 2 months ago and they were on sale, but they no longer carried my size. Yesterday I saw them again and they had my size! But they were in their original price, =.=. Things are like that, they're always imperfect. Considering my brown ankle boots from Hong Kong were broken last week, I decided I would replace them by buying a new one.

R.I.P to my brown ankle boots:

On another note, the other day we were in Berlin's LEGO Discovery Centre, we discovered this:

I have been searching for egg cups EVERYWHERE! Ever since I was a kid, my parents used to boil eggs and put them on egg cups for my breakfast. I remembered I have two egg cups, one had a Garfield on it. lol Then we moved houses several times and lost it :( Wherever I see egg cups, I would think about the ones I had.
I saw a fancy egg cup in Paris, but it's made of china/glass/something fragile, so I wouldn't want to risk breaking it while travelling. So when I saw these pair of egg cups (and they're made of plastic) in the store, I didn't even think about it and grabbed them!!!!!!! Each cup has 3 LEGO faces, you can twist the cap and make a funny face ;)

Is there something special that triggers your childhood memories?
