Then the curious cat self in me dabbled my paws into this oil released by Trilogy, I saw it on website for 13.5 GBP including free delivery, can't help it, can I? Plus Trilogy makes an array of skincare which I totally LOVE (Eye Contour Cream reviewed HERE, Balancing Gel Cleanser HERE). I've tried their toner and cleansing cream in their sampler set (I got mine on StrawberryNet), Botanical Body Wash (natural body wash hurray!) and everything was effective, comfortable and just GOOD.

True perfume aficionados will know who Robert Piguet is. When it comes to picking perfumes, I found one thing to be true: the more unique scents you're looking into, the pickier your nose gets. First it was a random Juicy Couture scent, Chloe, then my nose is drawn to Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Diptyque and now...Robert Piguet. It's only gonna get even more pickier, I've joked the other day about perfumes being a rabbit-hole, now the "mainstream" scents can't satisfy my nose any longer, all the "mainstream" scents are left standing on the table and I don't know what to do with those anymore, honestly (lol).

Today's skincare pick is a daytime lotion with SPF15 by AHAVA called Essential Moisturizing Lotion SPF15. It falls under the "Hydrate" line like the Hydration Cream Mask which I wrote about previously. I've put this lotion to test for the past 5-6 weeks in the AM and it gets along well with my skin.

I've been into wash-off masks lately and I keep accruing tubes and tubs of masks from various brands. AHAVA had kindly tossed in a deluxe sample of their Hydration Cream Mask along with a full-sized daytime lotion, of which I'll review separately later. As my skin is leaning combination/dry, any "hydration" skincare products are very much welcomed!

When you're reading this, dear reader, I'm packing my luggage and will be flying off soon on holiday. However I do want to get this review done before vacation, so you could give it a go before deciding what moisturizer to switch to for the sweltering heat of summer, so here you go! Lately I had the pleasure to be invited to the new launch event from GLYCEL, their White Ice whitening line had left me pretty impressed last time, so I was really looking forward to their latest release. It was a very enjoyable night with hearty home-made food. 

Product Rave: Trilogy Eye Contour Cream

My obsession had slowly evolved from makeup to skincare lately, and in mid twenties, I'm bombarded with all sorts of eye problems, except puffiness maybe. I have a few fine lines developing at the inner corners, dry under eye area, and perennial dark circles, and dull eye area in general. During the past years I've delved into various little pots and tubes of eye creams, searching high and low for the best option. I know it's hard to find a single one which can rule them all (I still hope to!), but it will be great if I can tackle either the circles or the first lines! I first learned about Trilogy Eye Contour Cream from Ruth's blog post HERE. I was testing this eye cream out for a month and I'm glad I gave it a try!
