Review: Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color in 08 Smoked Glass

I think Smoked glass is one of those colors from the old eye jelly collection and is similar to the rest of the old ones in terms of the weirdness of color, LOL, one of them is a deep red wine kind of color and I wonder who will be wearing those...
Do violet, lilac colors work for you?
Now I wish I will use up this eye jelly jar asap, haha, it gives me headache just to try thinking if the color will work on me this time or next time...
Word of advice: get the new eye jelly instead of the old version!

Review: Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color N in 09 Midnight Shine
So before I knew I will get super-busy in the coming weeks and may not be able to write reviews, here's my thoughts on Jill Stuart's Eye Jelly, the one that has new packaging and new formula! The shade is called 09 Midnight Shine, which is a frosty navy blue.
On the left: old packaging and old formula
On the right: new packaging and new formula (the one I am reviewing on)

Why do I say there is old formula and a new one?
Both packaging includes the same amount of product, but I found the old Eye Jelly less pigmented and more watery (less jell-0 like), while the new Eye Jelly is more pigmented and I don't need to layer it in order to see colors. The texture is also less watery. So, I will definitely go for the new ones, not only because their jars look prettier!

Price and Amount of product: 6 grams, probably going to last for a long while, its price is 3 times than that of Canmake, as mentioned last time. But to be fair, its price is just like a regular Bobbi Brown eyeshadow's price I guess, a little bit more than MAC's though.
Texture: wonderful jelly texture, not watery (the new formula, that is).
Pigmentation: Good, very buildable.
Compatibility with other products: the SA said these eye jellies are best to use as eye shadow base, then layer another navy blue powder eyeshadow on top of it for more intensity.
Ease of application: best applied with fingers. Be careful though, finger tips might not be able to spread the eye jelly close to the lash line, also you have to blend really nicely to even out the color.

Swatches: Jill Stuart eye jellies and illuminance eye palette
Top: Pewter/silverish grey (?) on far left of the palette, followed by:
earth-toned brownish pink below, then a taupe-ish brown (?), and finally the dark blue (but different from the navy blue of the eye jelly)
I think the palette can make greattt smoky eyes! Have any of you tried J.S. eye jellies and palettes? Tell us what you think!
