When I first got Topshop cream blush in "Flush", I immediately googled swatches of the entire range online and decided that I should try "Crushed Berry" given it's a lilac/purple shade (That said, I can't miss any purple/lilac/lavender hues released in blushes! XD). However a closer look online I discovered "Crushed Berry" is "discontinued"? Thanks to Elaine who got me this from Singapore where this shade is still available!
See that "just-in-from-the-snow" glow?! You can't buy it but you can fake it with Topshop "Crushed Berry", haha.
又是那 "剛在雪地進入室內" 面上粉紅的氣息, 現在不用渡假都可以擁有的好面色, 哈哈.
Intensity: Highly pigmented, blends less well than the same blush in "Flush"
Finish: Matte
Price: ~$10-11 USD
Lasting power: 6 hours (longer than the same blush in "Flush")
Repurchase: Probably don't need to
Overall thoughts: Another unique shade to add to the stash. Although this blends less well than its counterpart "Flush" but it lasted longer, possibly due to the fact that this color is darker than "Flush".
What is A-Blush-A-Day (ABAD) Project?
On each day, each of us will present a different blush (old or new) we used each day (so that's 4 x 30 = 120 blushes), with swatches done either on face or on hand, and a short review. For my list of 30 blushes to be used in this project, click here. Don't forget to head to Elaine's, Vonvon's, PopBlush's blogs for daily blush surprises!

ReplyDeleteI thought this would be far too dark but it looks gorgeous on you :)
ReplyDeleteI like that just-in-from-the-snow look! :) That's the thing with cream blushes, they often look dark in the pan, but once blended, turn out rather well. Ok, may be not all. ;)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I don't know if you can still get them, MAC has a collection of 6 creme blushes, called Cremeblend Blushes that was released in March. If you have the chance to check it out, and is still available, do take a look.

ReplyDeleteThe blush gave you a somewhat natural looking flush like you just ran a mile or so. Very pretty!
ReplyDeletepretty~! it doesn't look too dark, which is what i would worry about at first impressions. looks good on u =] <3
ReplyDeleteAnother "I look scary in the pan but use me and you'll love me" blushes :D This would probably be one that I'd be scared to even test in the store!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any more long holiday breaks only a single days off here and there before school official ends at the end of june :] I can't wait!
That's a pretty purplish blush! I can definitely tell you love cream blushes... hehe~
ReplyDeleteI give you credit to swatch products at the department stores and then take pictures! I can't seem to do it because of embarrassment... hehe~ :X
At first when I saw the pic of the blush I thought it might've been too deep of a color but seeing it on your face proved differently. It looks lovely =D
