Bloggers Meetup with Michelle from Cosmetic Cupcake + tiny loot!

Michelle from CosmeticCupcake and I met today and we went shopping! It's my second time to meet bloggers coming to Hong Kong :) and my third time to meet up with bloggers. It was a fun experience to know each other better when we hang out! Let me know if you're visiting next year again Michelle! Would love to spend more time choosing nail polishes with you LOL

We got the following:
Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX (aka the famous sleeping mask) This is my second tub...I had to throw the first tub away when I return from Europe because it's too heavy for my luggage T^T Anyways, LOVE THIS STUFF! If you haven't tried this, you should! I layer this over my moisturizer at night and go to bed, and the next morning I wash normally the way I would. This mask makes my skin sooooo moisturized and plump with hydration after use, better than sheet masks. When I was in Europe in temperatures below 10 degrees, I use this as a night moisturizer directly (thin or thick depends on how much you want) and it keeps my skin from drying and avoids the dry patches and flaking. I can't say enough how much I love this product, this is my HG mask and double-duty moisturizer in winter!

Next, Michelle and I saw a packet of two Vitacreme B12 samples, since neither of us has tried it, we were curious about what it's supposed to do to your skin ;) If anyone knows, do tell us LOL

And the last item: Canmake Cream Cheek in #09 (Limited Edition!!) I'm a sucker for LE stuff, you probably would have figured out by now, hahaha.

The shade looks very vibrant in the pan, but when swatched, it's a deep pink (with slight mauve-ish tones, almost lilac) and it's THE pink that I'm looking for. I'm always looking for a dupe for my HG blush, but more on that in a separate post :P. This shade has a matte finish too.

New promo pic of LENA wearing the cream blush in #09: such a porcelain doll pink.
Do you know of any blushes that show up like the color on LENA's face? I'm lusting that kind of porcelain-doll-face pink which also looks a bit lilac-ish, almost light-purple :D if it makes sense.

  7. I love love love Vitacreme, it's currently my HG moisturiser.
For me it really helped lighten my acne scars and repair my skin.
It's quite rich so you have to spend some time rubbing it in or it'll just sit on top of your skin and look greasy.
Oh wanted to tell u, ELF studio is 50% off right now, did u have anything you wanted to order?

  9. Great haul! I've heard so many good things about the Water Sleeping Mask. I had only tried Oslee sleeping mask before and it was only OK. I've been laying off Asian masks because of my acne though. I can't wait to have clear skin again so I can use up my skin care stash though LOL

Wah awesome collection of those Canmake cream cheek blushes, the packaging and colors are so cute! I hope you let us know how you like the Vitacreme, also lots of buzz about this online.

I suggest Shu Uemura Pink 30 for the Lena doll look. Very dolly pink! :)

    Yay for blogger meetings!

  11. The Laniege Water Sleeping Pack EX sounds wonderful! I'm going to have to ask my friends to bring it back from Korea for me the next time they go there.

I use the Vitacreme B12 as a night moisturizer. It's supposed to be moisturizing as well as help to brighten your skin. I believe that it's also supposed to help with skin pigmentation but I honestly haven't found it to help lighten any of my awful freckles and spots.

  12. LE cream blush!!! Canmake'll make it permanent soon enough, so all I have to do is to be patient haha.. Did you notice that they always make LE things permanent eg Cheek Gradation Chocostripe, Cream Cheeks Coral Orange and Marshmallow Pink?

  15. Haha!
    I'll try to answer xD
I use twice a day, but I think cos HK so humid only use at night.
When you put on the cream just spend some time massaging the cream in, like 2-3 mins. The cream is quite heavy/rich if you don't massage it in, it doesn't absorb and you end up having a very greasy face.
Target age I think early to mid 20s la, I am 26 and I started using when I was 25 xD
I will be ordering ELF from their website www.eyeslipsface.com let me know if you want me help order!

Forgot to mention this in my earlier comment - you have a LOT of Canmake's cream blushes!! Which is your fave colour? I am not particularly fond of Nut Cream, I don't care if they discontinue it ahaha.

Speaking of matte blushes, just got my hands on one and I LOVE it! I see why you're so enamored over matte blushes now =D
