Outfit of the day and blog award

It's a little shameful to call this an OOTD, because...it's really simple. This one-piece dress is actually pretending to have 2 layers. But of course, I love the combination of a long button-up shirt with a long circle-neck sweater preferably with a loose opening in the front. (what's the proper name for this "one-piece" anyone? It's certainly not a dress but it's a one-piece clothing?)
This item is for anyone who's in a hurry but still wants to look smart casual I guess? I love this piece since I can pair it with leggings then head out of the door. I bought this in some small boutiques me and my friend frequent often. The outer sweater is not totally gray by the way :) it's a mixture of grey and earthy-brown knit, if that makes any sense.
And, in case you're wondering what are the two red columns next to me, they're my favourite pair of posh wellies from Tom Joules ;) The pair is in red in this picture! These wellies are the cutest I've seen.

I've been tagged by Krystal Leigh at Missy Sassy Pants a while ago :) Thankyou so much! I normally don't do taggings...but here are some blogs that are worthy of attention:

And one of my latest favourite song:

That's all for this short update!

  1. Those are nice wellies, Jenn! Did you wear them with that OOTD coz I think it looks smashing.

I love the TJ wellies' color --- perfect for the holidays!

  2. Yes, Jen, i think the boots will liven up the one-pice dress number all the more. you can't go wrong with black, white and gray as your "base"--- a vibrant splash of color perks up the entire outfit :)

hmmm... maybe you can take a pic of yourself wearing that ensemble? :)

  3. and oh, don't think that your OOTD isn't deserving to be posted [as OOTD]. I think that it's nice to see bloggers posting what they usually wear.

your OOTD looks so fresh and laid back--- something i'd wear, really.

im sorry for spamming this post with my comments :D

  7. I'd say it's a tunic ! ;-) Simple is sometimes better ! I see people walking down the street with several styles going on and it's damaging to my eyes ! Ah well, it's a free country. We can wear whatever we want ! Those are some cute wellingtons ! I have some shorter wellies by Vivienne Westwood -- you know the one with the bows ? Unfortunately they're a bit small ! :-/

  13. I really like your one-piece!! It looks so chic and effortless :) Sometimes it's hard to find the right shirt and sweat to make a nice combination.... and even if i do, the material might be too thick to even be comfortable in!

The wellies are the cutest ones I've seen too! I red ones are my favoutie also :D

  16. Loving your OOTD and wellies! :D

I did manage to get through the Sleek website and got about 9 items for about £20 inc. shipping! :D

Honestly from the Jill Stuart collection I would probably just the blush the most but it was a early xmas pressie :P as I did decide not to get the collection intially.
I do like the blushes, a little goes a long way so they'll last forever. They are the first Jill Stuart items and blushers I own so I don't really have anything to compare them to :) xx

  17. Yes I will do, but some of it were to add to xmas pressies :D
You must do a post too when you get your items :) x

  28. I always order through eyeslipsface.co.uk.. It sounds VERY strange that you were charged taxes and fees, when Denmark is obviously.. well, in Denmark. They're only supposed to charge that if the item is not a gift and it's coming from outside the EU. -__-"

  29. omggg those boots are SO CUTE. i LOVE the bows on the top, they're soo christmas. I want a pair!

  30. BOW WELLIES!!!!omg I need a pair of those!!!
I like that grey jersey, it'll go nicely with jeans n a pair of boots too xD
oh n about Wet n Wild n ELF, I wouldn't suggest buying ELF in Canada cos it's so bloody expensive, however if you're interested, I'm going to be making a small order off their website at their next 50% off sale, so if you know what you want, just email me a list. Shipping to Canada is cheap cos I'll be using paypal.
I know we get Wet n Wild, I think it's at Walmart or something. I'm not sure if we get any of the LE collections tho.

  31. Oh, my real name is Line. Pronounced something like Lee-neh. But Nani is my nickname : D everybody pretty much calls me that.

Uhm, it still makes no sense if you bought the items while living in Denmark - and then ordered them from Denmark. Sounds to me like you got ripped off : (
And yeah.. the UK site is a bit more expensive. That's Europe for you.. everything's insanely expensive. : (
