Clarins Double Serum Review

A few months ago back in September 2012, Clarins came out with a new version of their well-known Double Serum. The serum was an infusion of both water (hydric) and oil (lipidic) elements. Having tried this at the counter, a few weeks later I caved when they're having a nice GWP promotion. Here's how it looks:

The serum is marketed as 'anti-aging' and pretty much an all-rounded beauty potion. They did a pioneer study and the following results were found.

The bottle is designed in a way that one pump will simultaneously come out with the hydric and lipidic both in one drop, it's very handy and hygienic.

It can be applied day and night before your moisturizer. I found that one pump is enough for my whole face. The bottle has 30ml of product.

A light pump will dispense a mixture of oil and water, I rub it warm with my palms and pat on face and neck. It was completely absorbed after 30 seconds. I really adore the floral scent which is relaxing yet doesn't make you heady. The scent was delightful.

Thoughts: I apply this serum once per day (after shower) and I noticed this serum gives my skin more plump, firm, and radiant. It does not feel greasy at all. If you're looking for an all-rounded serum instead of a specific purpose like whitening or hydrating, this is worth a try.

  5. It looks nice and the fact that it is not heavy I am wondering how it works on dry skin and what is the right age range to use it
