Giorgio Armani Kaleidoscope Collection Eyes To Kill Eyeshadow swatches

So today I dropped by the Armani store when I heard the Kaleidoscope Collection from Fall had been released, and I've got some swatches and close-ups for all of you.

There are a total of 6 ETKs (Eyes To Kill) eyeshadows in this release; and 2 double-decked blush and eyeshadow palettes.

Below is #30 Rose Popillia, #31 June Beetle, and #32 Gold Hercule:

Here is #33 Scarab Violetta, #34 Blue Beetle and #35 Silver Chafer:

I really love #30 and #32. #30 Rose Popillia is a duochrome - a pale silver grey with pink undertones; #32 Gold Hercule is a mix of gold and green! #33 Scarab Violetta is nice addition to the line as a light purple is missing from the current range, #35 Silver Chafer might look flat silver in the pan but is subtler than any of the ETK silver shades released before, it's best to be used as a highlight.

Close-ups of #30 Rose Popillia; #31 June Beetle; #32 Gold Hercule:

#33 Scarab Violetta; #34 Blue Beetle; #35 Silver Chafer:

Also spotted were the 2 blush and eyeshadow palettes. The middle shade in both palettes have a special overlay. The left palette #2 Venomous Green composes of brown, a forest green (overlay is a greenish gold!), and a light grey. The #1 Mystic Blue right palette composes of a plum purple; aqua blue (overlay is violet!), and a lighter blue.

The blushes also have a shimmery overspray which will go away once the surface has been used:

See what I mean by overlay? These are gorgeous.

You can see how duochrome-ish #30 Rose Popillia is: it looks both pink and grey/silver in the following pics.

#31 June Beetle is an aqua blue, and is much lighter than #34 Blue Beetle:

#32 Gold Hercule is my second favourite from the bunch. It's a mixture of green and gold (mostly gold), I adore its dimensional color.

#33 Scarab Violetta looks more spring-appropriate but nevertheless it's a lovely lavender shade. It looks electic violet under one lighting and looks grey-ish purple in another lighting, isn't it amazing?

#34 Blue Beetle is a pretty straight-forward blue. It looks light blue in the pan but when swatched, it's a beautiful royal blue.

#35 Silver Chafer is a soft silver, albeit subtler than any silver shades released previously in the ETK range.

I hope these help! Are you eyeing anything from this collection?

  3. Hey Jenni, thanks for the swatches! I like some of them, but I'm not sure if I'll get any because none of them seems like a shade that I will get a lot of use out of. Still, I'd love to check them out when they're available here though!

  4. I think this is one of the few times I like the stuff in the old permanent range better than the new. I still don't have an ETK but love the look of the gold/bronze/brown shades.
