Burberry Eye Makeup Remover review

This small bottle of eye makeup remover from Burberry was acquired during a promotional purchase. Long story short, it was a purchase with regrets.

Housed in the signature Burberry pump dispenser bottle, same as their foundations and primers, the bottle has 30ml of product and a white creamy appearance. Yes the bottle is classy, but that's the only good thing about it really.

I mostly use this on the eyes and I can't fathom wiping this over my skin, as 1) it'll take up awful lot of product to do the job; 2) the formula isn't that gentle. Take a look at the ingredients and you'll know why:

It wipes away eyeshadow and eyeliners with mediocre results, and something in the cream ingredients irritated my eyes. No mercy for this product when it can't even do the job. I"m so glad it's gone (empties post HERE). Long live the bi-phase removers until I found something else even better!

Speaking of which, do you know of any gentler products to remove eye makeup? Be they "clean"/natural or not, I'm just curious.

  1. Such a shame that it didn't get its job done! Hmmm, I just bought a micellar eye makeup remover and it sucked too. The worst part is, it is also awful at removing face makeupl!

    1. omg i hate underperforming micellar waters! They are something so simple but not easily done right! Just like eye makeup removers, either they're not strong enough or they sting! LOL

  2. Awww.. The packaging is really pretty, too bad that it sucks at removing makeup. I like using Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover http://www.bifesta.jp/uruochi/lineup/remover.html

  3. Darn. What a bummer. At least you stuck to your guns & used it all up. Not sure I would've been that patient!! I'm partial to the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water :-)

    1. Gummy, it's not a very powerful remover so it took quite a lot of product each time ;) so it's gone in no time! oh you aren't completely converted to the KGD cleansing spa water? why is that?

    2. Ooops sorry!!! When I said partial I meant that it's very much my preference to use the KGD water over anything else!!! I looooove it!! :-)
