Happy New Year people! Life had been busy since I returned from Taiwan (Christmas gatherings, birthday celebrations, new year's eve countdown and work), I'm planning on a few upcoming posts but first I want to post this: Spring 2011 Collection from Jill Stuart!
This year there are a few products up in the alley so hopefully there's something for everyone. They will release a new line of lip glosses called Lip Jewel, a new color for blush blossom, a new color for Mixed Blush Compact, 2 new shades for Jewel Crystal Eyes Palette, and 3 new nail polish colors.
12 new shades are included in the new Lip Jewel line, each gloss is named after some precious stones like ruby, catseye...there will be 2 limited colors, #11 and #12. 
06 Little Anemone will be the new color for the blush blossom range. Also notice that the price of blush blossoms is increased. *o*
Price of the Mixed Blush Compact is also raised, the new color will be #13 Milky Pink.
Dolly Bloom, Marshmallow bonbon, Petal Shower will be the 3 new colors added to nail polishes range. Retailing price is increased.
Angelic Topaz, Sweet Amethyst are the 2 new shades for Jewel Crystal Eyes palette range. Retailing price is raised too.
And finally, something for Jill Stuart Club Member who spent over $5000 HKD in the past year until March this year. They can redeem the following set of dishes and plate (without the products), I say this set looks very classy!!

Which item catches your eye?! :) Personally I will be picking up the Mixed Blush Compact in #13 Milky Pink 'cause I'm a big fan of the mixed blush compacts anyday over the blush blossoms lol!
P.S. If you need help purchasing these, contact me early in advance because their new products are always sold out in a matter of 2-3 days.

Ahhh I wish Jill Stuart cosmetics were more easily attainable in the United States! I've been wanting to try out their products for so long...the packaging really draws me in haha. Happy New Year btw! My #1 resolution would be to find a job ASAP lol

ReplyDeleteI never get tired of seeing Jill Stuart products. It's always SO pretty! The nail polish in Dolly Bloom sounds like a cute colour but it sucks that the RRP has gone up.
I look forward to seeing your swatches of the mixed blush compact! I would be so interested in getting it too but I don't need any more blushes lol.
I don't make any new year's resolutions... Maybe just one - to get through the year *lol*

We also got this brand called Nilens Jord (Earth of the Nile) which makes mineral makeup Egyptian-style : D It's pretty cool stuff. I got some of their brushes and I love 'em!
I LOVE CHOWS! My parents have Newfoundlands, but chows kinda look like them in the face. A bit chunky, fluffy and they look so kind and teddy-bear-like :'D *sigh* I want one so bad.. And I shall call him CHIYO! : D Haha xD <3

Oh. I meant like the makeup is inspired by Egyptian traditions.. Minerals, ancient-looking jars etc. It's pretty decent. Got a liquid eyeliner from them and it's AWESOME : D And yeah, it's a Danish brand.

ReplyDeleteAh, Jill Stuart! Their packaging is unbeatable. Period. This loose duo blush is so unique, yet I'm drawn to the mixed blush compact- it reminds me of the Givenchy Prisme blush, so pretty!!
It's odd of me (because organising and making lists= fun, fun times for me!) but I still haven't figured out my new year's resolutions... Now that I think of it, I'd like to make more calculated shopping rather than impulse buys!

Had to search for Angels on bare skin, sounds really amazing. They dont have it on the norwegian lush site, hopefully the US site can ship it to Norway :)

ReplyDeleteHm, I would normally fulfill a review request, but in the case of face products I'm always hesitant to do any (unless I'm confident) because I don't have much experience with them haha. I think I'm just the wrong person to review the Shiseido products especially the primer since I've never used primer for my face XD But perhaps I will test out the Shiseido powder and if I think I'm confident enough I'll do a mini review =)
