Double the Pleasure at duality-themed Taboo bar & lounge

Situated at Arbuthnot Road, next to the famous bar area of Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Taboo is the hottest bar & lounge in the city that is sure to make your pleasure double-fold. The club aims to bring forward the Parisian and New York club scene to Hong Kong.

The design of Taboo is based on a duality-theme. It has two floors: the first floor being inspired by classy French salon.

A key was assigned to each guest and invite each guest to unlock the three treasure boxes put in different corners of the bar.

The first floor decor includes an inverted piano hung from the ceiling, paintings hung upside down - prompting its guests to topple reality and come alive after a few drinks.

Pleasantly-lit, cozy first floor of Taboo:

Now come to the basement: a dimly-lit dungeon with flashes of neon red light that resembles devilish purgatory.

And the two floors are served by a different bar:

There's also a cubicle with a secret button hidden around you, to spray the dancers with water.

Don't be fooled by the apothecary-looking front door - we all know much more is stowed away inside and downstairs. Taboo opens from Mon-Sat 6pm-5am.
