My love affair with MoroccanOil hasn't stopped just at the 100ml MoroccanOil hair treatment oil for sure, I find the use of hair masks is as essential as adding the oil to my next-to-minimal-or-nothing-at-all hair care routine. If you're a fuss-free person who can't be bothered about your hair, read on. Your hair will thank you.
There are a total of three variations of hair masks from MoroccanOil: Intense Hydrating Mask (for medium to thick dry hair), Weightless Hydrating Mask (for fine dry hair) and Restorative Hair Mask (for weakened and damaged hair). My hair belongs to the thick camp, the ends are dry and frayed, undoubtedly the Intense Hydrating Mask is just what my hair wants (and much better).
The product is infused with the signature aroma of MoroccanOil - a warm and relaxing smell. They should really go ahead and make a fragrance out of it, since I read so many people are in love with their product scent! I apply the size approximately the size of my wrist watch onto shampooed hair after squeezing off the excess water from rinsing. Let it sink in for 5 minutes and rinse. And blow dry as usual and my locks are shining healthily again. It's really that simple.
The mask is slightly yellow and with such a bewitching scent, I repeat, I cannot get enough of MoroccanOil scent. The texture is like melt butter, spreads easily on my thick hair, deeply conditioned it and adds shine. I've also noticed post-blowdry, my hair becomes straighter and more airy light. Bonus for not weighing my hair down! Another added benefit is that it makes the blow drying process quicker. I normally need 25 minutes of blow drying and now 15 minutes will do. That's a remarkable difference made in my daily hair care routine already.
If you have never used a hair mask, consider adding this one to your haircare routine. Your hair will thank you for it, not to mention that MoroccanOil makes my hair more manageable (in terms of frizziness). Being so easy to use, this hair mask is every lazy person's dream. This tub carries 250ml and will last a long time I tell ya.

I'll definitely have to try this next! Moroccanoil is my holy grail product. I use it almost every day especially when blowdrying my hair as it quickens up the process – does anyone else find this? I think hairtrade is the cheapest place you can get it at the moment. I also find it good to use on my hair extensions Kate x
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that site - thanks for the heads up Kate!
ReplyDeleteI love the original oil and want to try the mask, but I don't want to pay the price for it. :D Maybe I'll cave some day! It sounds so nice.
