Guerlain Fall sneak peek

Elaine and I met this Monday since she was visiting HK, and we spotted the Guerlain Fall release out already! We snagged up all the stock (4 pieces) for the new Madame Rougit blush, LOL

 The new eyeshadow duos - sorry for the poor lighting in the store and hence the pic, that neon yellow eyeshadow should be a grass green color instead...

I've my eye on 06 Two Parisian and 04 Two Gossip. 06 Two Parisian is a glittery cotton candy pink with a dark next-to-black charcoal. They blend beautifully and create dramatic smoky eye. The texture of the pink shade was so soft that I broke the tester when swiping with a finger, the powder broke like a slush cake after taking this pic XD

04 Two Gossip is a beautiful honey golden yellow with a plummy shade, it's stunning. It'll look gorgeous on warm-toned skin I think. I think I'll pass the other eyeshadow duo combos other than these two. These are permanent.

The blush is LE, it smells of the usual Guerlain floral scent (gardenia or violets I can't recall), the accompanying brush bristle is coral in color. The silver dots on the blush are overlay. The blush is made up of 4 colors - a hot pink, pastel pink, coral, and a tanned orange on the upper corner. The in-store lighting was so bad that it's become hard to take picture of the swatch. I found it to be mediocre in pigmentation, however the texture feels silky smooth to the touch.

I also brought home the new eye pencil in 05 Amber Silver. It instantly reminds me of Chanel Rose Platine, which I had been searching high and low for when I missed it. My first impression is Rose Platine has more glitter, while the Guerlain one glides on skin easier.
