Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer #13 Review and Swatches

Today I bring you Armani Fluid Sheer in #13 which is a liquid luminizer / highlighter. Truthfully, I have one or two of such products at home and I seldom use them, however my heels went weak when I swatched this at the counter during a recent visit, my mind had been pondering on it ever since.

Then I brought it home.

Priced at quite steep, the bottle houses 30ml of product and comes in a pump dispenser bottle. It's my first fluid sheer from the brand but I"m not new to the concept - in fact I own its Light Master Primer already.

Fluid sheer comes in an array of shades and #13 is Limited Edition with the Spring Effeto Nudo collection. It can be added to your foundation, tinted moisturizer, or use on cheekbones/brow bones/nose bridge for accentuating facial contours.

When I say my legs go weak, there's a reason. I can't resist shades that are duo-chrome-like, or changes color, or simply swatched differently from the pan/bottle/jar. Here's the white and normal-looking drop of fluid sheer #13:

And then look at this: (natural indoor lighting)

This:

and look at THESE under yellow indoor lighting:

It transformed beautifully from a white drop to a luminescent pearly, champagne-ish wash of color:

At the department store lighting, and under flash lighting:

HOLY MOTHER. It became oyster pink. The effect is especially obvious when swatched under the department store lighting, to me this is the Armani equivalent of MAC Oyster Girl, albeit it's for the face and not for the lips! Here it's been blended and sheered out:

It's transparent and with no visible tint added to change the color of the skin. It adds a beautiful, beautiful glow to your complexion. This is to date the most "complex" liquid highlighter I've come across. I have compared it with Benefit Girl Meets Pearl, and Benefit is more yellow-ish/gold-toned on my skin.

Bottomline: If you're a fan of liquid highlighters, run to get it or live to regret it. This will be the creme de la creme in any highlighters stash.

    1. it's much finer (shimmer particles and the glow) than the ones released in the old line before they revamped it!

  5. I've tried a few highlighters in the past but they hardly phased me - too shimmery or glittery. This looks and sounds incredible though and now I want me some of this stuff!
